In the Trenches

Never thought of myself as a trench coat kinda gal. They seem to be all the rave right now, not to mention trenches are a classic piece to transcend the times. Usually the khaki version but they seem to be adding twists to this classic these days. I spotted one about two weeks ago, waited a another week and I was still thinking about it, so I bought it and wore it the very next day (not unusual for me, I'm all about instant gratification people, live it! : ). It is a cute burberry design-looking trench that I purchased at Macys without the Burberry tag or price. The brand is called Jolt, don't have anything under that label but definitely a keeper for under $50 before taxes. It is designed with red, gray, blue and white colors. I rocked it with some jeans and patent leather red heels and immediately got koodoo's for my ensemble while in line at Starbucks for my morning java. I see that Nordstroms is promoting trenches and also hip trenches under $85 are noted in April issue of Lucky Magazine, luckymag.com, on page 78. Get with the trend!
